The Premium Residence L'Ecrin des Neiges is a 4 star accommodation that has been rented for the Jewish Community providing services in a pleasant setting.

Premium Residence L'Ecrin des Neiges is located near exciting activities, suitable for children and adults alike of all ages.

We provide a Minyan and Kosher food for our families vacationing with Global Vacations residing in Tignes.

Perched up above Tignes in the Val Claret area, our L'Ecrin des Neiges Premium residence is set at 2,100 m altitude. It comprises two chalet-style buildings in stone and wood. Each apartment invites you to embrace the mountain lifestyle with its Savoyard feel and wood interiors. For as long as you are on holiday with us, it's all about switching off! 

 

Designed as the ultimate cosy retreat, our two chalet buildings have a living area, where you can read, or spend some quality time while your little ones amuse themselves in the dedicated area right close by.

 

You'll have access to the Val d'Isère Tignes's most beautiful Alpine lifts slope and a host of free summer sports. The residence is 400 m from the tourist office which can be reached in 3 minutes using the shuttle service. Have you always dreamt of chairlifts, mountainbiking and hiking? Go for it!

L'Ecrin des Neiges, How to get there

 

Getting there by road

Paris (690 km) - Lyon (240 km) - Chambéry (130 km) - Geneva (165 km)

 

From Paris: 

- A43 to Albertville (Chambéry - Albertville) then dual carriageway to Moûtiers

- Then take the RN90 to Bourg-St-Maurice and the D902 to Tignes

- In Tignes, follow the signs for Val Claret

- When you get to the 1st roundabout in Val Claret, park your car at the beginning of the Grande Motte car park (2 hours free)

- The residence is just opposite the car park, next to the path leading to the Platières lift

Summer Activities

Tignes is a great place to go if you love trying different activities. The SPORTIGNES card, free from your accommodation provider, gives you access to a huge variety of sports and activities including tennis, trampolines, water jumps, archery, beach volley etc. You also get two entries to the Lagon swimming pool, one entry to the mini-golf and one to the multimedia centre where you have a free 1 hour internet access. There’s also a weekly programme of events with music, contests and demonstrations.

If you’re not sporty, there’s plenty to see around the lake which itself offers a gentle stroll around the shores, with picnic areas along the banks.

Things to do

Bike Park Tignes - Val d’Isère

There are over 150km of trails and 5 MTB lifts and it’s all FREE. Just get your MTB lift pass from the Maison de Tignes Tourist Office at Le Lac or Val Claret and be ready for some serious fun. 

There are trails for beginner to expert and elite plus BIKELAND, where you can practice and learn in safety, have fun on the MTB airbag or the dual slalom.

 

Pedestrian Lifts

Walkers can forget the hard work climbing up to the high trails. Pedestrian lifts are FREE  (you’ll need to get a lift pass from the Maison de Tignes Tourist Office at Le Lac or Val Claret). The Tovière gondola (up and down), Palafour and Tufs chairlifts (up only) are open for access to trails and viewpoints.
